I decided to create a website to help people touched by long-term care issues
and problems. Almost on a daily basis, I field questions from resident family
members, residents themselves and staff members concerned about many
different issues. I decided to put my knowledge into an easy to use website. With
this site, you now have 'insider information' not usually available from other
sources regarding nursing homes, assisted living centers, sub-acute rehab, end of
life issues, Medicare, etc. Are you confused on the best way to choose a nursing
home? Have you ever wondered why nursing homes reject some people for
admission? Does it seem strange that nursing home staff always complain of being
"short staffed"? Ever get confused when you're told that Medicare doesn't cover
that? The focus of this website is to serve families of residents by providing
relevant, useful, free information even though Nurses, Doctors, Nurse aides,
therapist and many others may also find it useful.
